  • This product supersed OSI-207-a (temporary product, processed with a temporary chain previously processing OSI-207) on 19/01/2021.

    GOES-16 (GOES-R) is the first GOES new generation. This new GOES-East platform enables daytime SST calculations (whereas, previously, GOES-East SST was restricted to night_time conditions).
    Product based on the GOES-East data received in the OSI SAF production centre (Météo-France Lannion) directly from the satellite.

    This product format is compliant with the Data Specification (GDS) version 2 from the Group for High Resolution Sea Surface Temperatures (GHRSST).
